Cabling? Sure, I can do that too

A few days ago I had a job interview. I was asked about my experience with cabling.

I explained that my team and I laid new WAN and LAN cables across many UK sites, but I forgot that not long ago I had to learn all about cabling for my off-grid solar setup.

Six solar panels 455W each, arranged in series and connected to my Growatt SPF 3500 inverter.

Attached to it, are four 100A batteries, also connected in series to create a 48V battery bank.

Coupled with fuses (both DC and AC sides), circuit breakers, and monitors.

And all of it designed and build by myself, with very little prior knowledge and no experience. I have to say, it works beautifully. My house has been 100% off-grid for months.

The moral of the story is: I CAN LEARN ANYTHING! We live in amazing times where an answer to any question is available on the internet for those who know what they want.
